Blue Zone- what it feels like, looks like and sounds like:
  • Sad
  • Sick
  • Tired
  • Bored
  • Your body feels like it is running slowly

Your head might be down on the desk or you might be…..
-daydreaming
-sleeping
-crying

Green Zone- what it feels like, looks like and sounds like:
  • Calm
  • Happy
  • Feeling okay
  • Focused
  • Ready to learn
  • Hands to yourself
  • Respecting your friends’ personal space
  • Using kind words
  • Playing well with your friends
  • Good listening
  • Calm quiet voice /indoor voice

Yellow Zone- what it feels like,
looks like and sounds like:
  • Frustrated
  • Worried
  • Silly
  • Excited
  • Hurt
  • Shy
  • Bored
  • Your body feels energetic/wiggly/wired
  • Not wanting to play with anyone
  • Bothering others
  • Hard to sit still
  • Talking out
  • Loss of some control

Red Zone – what it feels like, looks like and sounds like:
  • Mad/Angry
  • Mean
  • Terrified
  • Elated
  • Scared or afraid
Body feels like it’s moving very fast
  • Hitting
  • Kicking
  • Yelling  or screaming
  • Swearing
  • Someone who is bullying
  • Out of control
