Welcome to our blog!

This site has been set up as a way to share our common vision, as parents and educators, to ensure our children are developing skills to be "READY TO LEARN" each and every day!

Along the top, you will find links to specific topics. This is where we will share what is happening at school with regards to Social Emotional Learning.

    I would like to recommend The adventures of NapkinMan by CBC kids where all episodes are about Social Emotional Learning. It's 100% Canadian!

    I think this is a great start. I would recommend taking this one step further back to understand where emotions come from. Our human operating system works in the way that we are experiencing our thoughts in the moment. We can't have an emotion without having a thought. Once you put that variable into the equation it becomes much more personal with both accountability and empowerment.
